Fall is here and I love it!
Being relatively new from Washington State (I've been here two years) I'm still understanding how the seasons change in this sunshine state, as here is so different than there. In Washington, it is truly fall now, dark in the morning & dark in the evening, rain rain rain & more rain and fall leaves in all the glorious colors of red and yellow everywhere.
Now that fall is here, I wake up in the morning & open all the windows to let the fresh air in and while there are no leaves changing color, no pumpkin patches to visit, nor continuous amounts of rain, the sunshine shines throughout the days and it's almost time for a light sweater when walking the pups outside.....although, I'm still holding onto wearing flip flops and sandals for as long as possible!
The only thing I miss about the fall there, is the smell of fall here.
So, as I bring out the cuteness of my Fall Decor, I take time to stop in at my local favorites to bring the smell of fall into my home and I'm gonna share them with you here!
I like Pumpkin Spice. This is the season for it - it's perfect for fall and days leading into Thanksgiving. While I'm not overly obsessed with everything pumpkin spice - the Scentsational Pumpkin Spice candle is my beloved fall candle and the perfect balance of sweet pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, apples and cranberry and is truly the harmonic blend everything above & make me buy as many as I can when I see them. While the price is high on Amazon $44.99 for a 26oz with a 75 hour burn time - I suggest scoring these at HomeGoods when available at $15.99 for the same 26oz and grab as many as you can. Promise, once you burn one of these it - it will become a permanent staple in your fall decor!!
While not necessarily related to fall and all things fall smelling, the Gratitude Candle from Project 62 at Target is the best for aromatherapy and makes for a calm & relaxing evening and smells amazing - crisp clean and subtle hints of bergamot & fig, it's my go to favorite for the end of a busy day and keeps me grounded. This 12oz candles achieves the perfect balance of peace and comfort and at only $14 for a burn time of 30 hours, or an 8oz for $10, this candle is the perfect stress buster!
Now this candle - Bourbon Pepper. This candle was made for Fall Nights! You mix bourbon & pepper together: you get achieve the perfect marriage of scent heaven!!
