Fall is here and I love it! Being relatively new from Washington State (I've been here two years) I'm still understanding how the seasons change in this sunshine state, as here is so different than there. In Washington, it is truly fall now, dark in the morning & dark in the evening, rain rain rain & more rain and fall leaves in all the glorious colors of red and yellow everywhere. Now that fall is here, I wake up in the morning & open all the windows to let the fresh air in and while there are no leaves changing color, no pumpkin patches to visit, nor continuous amounts of rain, the sunshine shines throughout the days and it's almost time for a light sweater when walking the pups outside.....although, I'm still holding onto wearing flip flops and sandals for as long as possible! The only thing I miss about the fall there, is the smell of fall here. In the world of design - let's talk about first things first. The inspirational palette that brings everything together. They're called flat lays and we love 'em! They are so important as they drive the initial idea and goals & give our clients a real visual sense of what everything looks like when they are placed side by side! For example, this flat lay is for a powder room in the main hallway of our client's home. Here they can touch the materials, see the textures and colors firsthand. We do this room by room for all our projects - and when our clients can see "everything" together, it creates excitement and gives them the real visual of what "we" envision in our heads for how the project will develop and come to life!

Jamie Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Jamie spent four years living in Boston before returning back to Seattle & then landing permanently in Arizona a little over two years ago. Jamie's primary focus is Residential Design, yet also has fifteen years in Commerical Design, working for the best of the best of the top Commerical Interior Design Giants - which makes her understand the realm of Interior Design so much more! Jamie loves helping her residential clients create their Dream Home & strangers who became clients, whom turned into lifelong friends, is a testament to Jamie's commitment to her clients.
